Snow and Christmas

Some people sterotype a typical Christmas as a winter wonderland, or a shakened snow globe with snow flakes falling about the north pole. What people tend to forget is there are thousands of people that celebrate christmas all around the world. And for them its not a snowy atmosphere, its either hot, rainy, or just breezy.


This year where I live its been snowing like crazy. The craziest snow storm they seen yet for Oregon. Snow is up to four inches here. There is no other choice but to stay indoors. I found myself watching movies all day and or reading random facts online. Yet today it was different. I had a sudden struck of realization.


As elegant as snow may fall to the earth's surface it becomes hazzardous. Theres car accidents everywhere on I5 but ironically snow also means more time being spent with loved ones.


Im always seeking adventure outside my "home" that I forgot to seek for a quality time with my family.


For those of you that have snow falling about your area and you feel like theres nothing to do.... spend it with you family and don't forget theres always numerous things you can do.


Refrain from the materialistc world and perhaps look into traditional hobbies ... I know this sounds cheesy but try playing good old twister, or Monopoly with your family



... maybe call an old friend. Winter break is a time to catch up with your close ones and yourself.

Dance Life

Dancing is a big part of my life! I finally joined an awesome hip hop company in Portland. Even though I live an hour away from my destination its worth it to travel that far. Its satisfying to just go dance your pants off after having a stressful day of school. Ive learned so much over this past few month , dancing with a group of talented to people. Im mentally and physically challenged.

First performance was in eugene

WE did a crazy 80s dance.



it was not intended to be super technical and that is what I like about dance so much. its FLEXIBLE. you can express yourself anyway you like.

1st Blog!

Hey This is Jessica. Its obvious I either can't speak english right or I just don't know my grammar. My title for my blog is TheDailyRants ... I really mean TheDailyRant. haha ne whose. This is my first ever blog and I am super excited to start! So far winter break has been INTENSE. Because I was suppose to have another week of school but on comes this glorious snow storm that had school cancelled for a whole week! Damz! Its emensly craygee.. Ne wayz I will soon have pictures and videos posted. This is a blog not only for people to enjoy reading and viewing but also a way for me to blog about whats on my mind. :)
